Just before 2PM, Units from New Market, Mt. Jackson & Shenandoah County Fire & Rescue were dispatched to this single vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 81 Southbound, prior to the exit 264. Crew's from Engine 231 & Squad 23 removed the roof to access the patient. The vehicle appears to have left the southbound lanes and entered the median before coming to a stop. Due to the severity of  the impact, a medevac helicopter was called in to transport one patient.
