This early afternoon field fire taxed the southern battalion when first arriving units found about 2-3 arces burning towards a barn and home. E231 committed to the residental exposure. A second fire had developed east of the main fire which was knocked down by Brush-23, E232 maintained a water supply for the brush unit. Units from Edinburg, Timberville & the Virginia Department Forestry also assisted during this incident.
